Just like you, I’ve had to carve out my identity in my industry.

It wasn’t immediate—it was a process of self-reflection, trial and error, and discovery.

Naming my business, The Articulate Coach, was a lot like the work we do together in coaching. It’s not just about having the right idea or making the perfect first impression. It’s about digging deeper to find the words and expressions that truly align with who you are and where you’re headed. And that’s what we’re here to do together.

The Articulate Coach developed over time. I initially began my coaching journey because I felt disconnected from helping others one-on-one during the pandemic. I was isolated from the world, as we all were, and was craving connection.

Coaching Thought Leaders, Authors, and Audiobook Narrators taught me how deeply meaningful this work is for both clients and myself. The daily “Ahas!”, professional victories and milestones were a signal that my methods were working.

What began as private coaching soon blossomed into hands-on courses and workshops designed to provide students with accelerated programs for career growth. I like to think of these as professional sprints that take place over hours or weeks. They are a runway that you gift yourself in order to make progress in your careers. Each curriculum is specifically crafted toward a professional goal.

So, where did the name “The Articulate Coach” come from?

Like many of you, I am a wordsmith, a bibliophile, and a writer. I’ve always been drawn to the power of storytelling. And that’s exactly what I see in every coaching session we share. We’re crafting the next chapter of your story, even as I develop my own. 

I wanted my company name to embody multiple levels of meaning. After brainstorming, setting the exercise aside, and returning to it multiple times, I landed on “The Articulate Coach.”

The Articulate Coach is designed to articulate your goals.

As The Articulate Coach, I also take it upon myself to be articulate.

Through working with me, you - in turn - become more articulate.

Together, we help you become more articulate both out loud with your voice and on paper in your writing.

We articulate your brand and business, and make sure you come off as more articulate wherever you show up both in person and online.

As a bonus, I also love that the word “art” kicks off the word "articulate." It tips to what is oh-so-valuable in my life and many of my students’ lives: being creative, an artist.

The word “Articulate” applies to you, me, and my coaching practice as a whole.
